KS: I find the two-finger cradle to work best for this butterfly variation, as you'll notice from the clip, the first two fingers are spread a little bit wider than would be ideal, but like the curly backwards prayer combo, when done at a faster speed, the audience won't notice it. (not that it's a legitamate reason to be sloppy!)
