1st excuse the messiness - I throw it together in a hurry and once I warmed up the camera program chrashed - anyhoo By moving your hand up or down whilst doing a pinky lift you can isolate the ball. Can also do 3 lifts in a row to get 3 of the balls to go all the way around the isolated one but I prefer it with 2 lifts because of the contrast of going back into a palm spin isolation. With 3 lifts in a row it becomes too obvious how the isolation works (to the untrained eye)

Michael Moschen does a lot of that sort of thing in his routine on that PBS special (for htose of you who have it, check it out).
