ferret: This is the Perplexing Planetary Isolation That I spoke about in the forum a while back. It was filmed at CJC2001 and that is my hair tie loosely thrown onto a 3 inch acrylic, and one of Richs metal balls as the moon.

This is awesome! If you could find something rounder than a scrunchie it'd look even cooler, but I don't know what you could find. I like this move a lot... is it difficult?

    It is, and it isn’t.

There are many people in the contact juggling community that can do a two ball palm spin while isolating one ball. At the same time, most do not concentrate on the mechanics of the isolation. If the isolated ball stays in the same spot visually, and there are no ‘tell marks’ on the isolated ball, than the trick they are attempting works!

With the PPI, you have to think a little deeper about your manipulation, so you ultimately gain a better understanding of isolation. I like to think that it takes it to a slightly higher plane.

    Enjoy…….
