I'm trying to figure out the move that is a simple isolation with one ball in the palm, where the palm is moving and the ball appears to float. Should I be using my fingers to help roll the ball, or mostly my palm, or what? Whenever I try it, the ball just rolls around very sloppily. |

You are doing it correctly!
When first starting with this move it should look sloppy. We would all hate you if you got it right too quickly
You say it's a simple move, but in reality this is an extreme advanced move! Over time and with practice it'll shapen up. It's a bitch to learn but once mastered a beutifull move.
Have a go first with learning to flawlessly spin 2 balls in one hand.
Then learn to isolate one of the 2 while you also venture into controlled separated spin of 2 balls in one hand.
Then your fingers will get the motion needed in memory and your hand/arm will learn the needed circular motion.
Have a search through the forum also,... you are not the first to post this question. There must be a lot of tips laying around here.

Hi, ive got a question about this move, hope you dont mind liquid
Ive got it isolated left and right (if you get my drift lol) but im finding it bobs up a little as it comes through the back of my palm. Do i compensate for this 'bob' or is my technique sloppy? _________________ The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious - the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. - Einstein |

i learned the way your the way you are now, i practiced whenever i had any type of ball in my hand (which is quiite often) its sloppy for ages and then it just clicks and you start getting better. the tips you can get here help you alot but if you just keep at it you'll get it.
spazzle trie doing it slowly, like painfully slowly and it will get better. _________________ skyhooks |
