Hello!
I finally convinced myself it was time to do a little introduction. That took a lot of work because I am a lurker by nature...
I started CJing a month ago (already!?), and I blame Sylver_cat and Briney entierly, even if the later has never heard of me... Sylver talks too much ;p
I started CJing by playing with Sylver's sphere each and every time we met when she came back from Scotland, and she finally sold me one (it's a 4" practise ball, not acrylic) so that I would stop (ok, that's not the official reason, but I'm pretty sure she's happy I have my own... ) .
I mosly CJ while walking or while I am taking the bus or the metro, which means I mostly do isolations (I still can't do a nice isolated palm spin but my enigmas are getting there), with a couple of other moves that I practice when I get of the road. Trying to learn to do a stall while walking is hard but rewarding
Well, that's it for now I guess. Have a nice day! |

Welcome. I can't even do most stuff standing still...walking sounds like a challenge. I did once see someone CJing while riding around in a van...that was interesting. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/illumilatte

Hello, bienvenue. Sounds like Sylver is doing a good job of spreading the word, we need more contactivists out there supporting the cause.
Keep going with the isolations, they may seem tough but they're infinitely worth it. Has Sylver shown you Furet's 'I want to buy you flowers' video yet? If not then it's the second video here:
http://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?t=2899&highlight=furet+flowers
I used to practice on my walk into university, I found it useful. Plus it means you won't stand in one place all the time while juggling which is always good (I'm trying to stop myself doing this at the moment)
Have fun and good luck _________________ Now all gatherymost to amuse it and have a tilty elbow or a nice cuffle-oteedee - Oh Yes!

Thanks Daisy ^^
And Royal, I'm trying to learn it. I'm not yet able to hold a coherent conversation, which is the reason why I took that sentence off my profile for now. Though, CJ is taking time away from my studying, so it might be a while before I feel confident enough to put it back in
Do you speak japanese? (you didn't ask if it was chinese, after all...) |

Hello Anskashra! Welcome around!
I'm so happy you finally introduce yourself on the forum, you'll see, it's great fun. I'm happy to know your enigma is getting somewhere and you can walk while doing stalls (I can barely walk with the ball on my head and absolutely not move with my other stalls) I want to see it!
Don't worry about the 'flower' vid, I'll show you next time. It was great inspiration for me.
Briney: ...you're going to think the only thing I do around here is talk about you. But it's not true! Sometime I do something else, it happens :p _________________ There's a million reasons and a million ways to get from here to there |

I read it better than I speak it I'm afraid, though I am trying to fix that by watching Japanese horror movies with no subtitles. Though that just teaches me to say things like "Koooore waaa n-n-nan desuukaaaaa?!?!?!" in a low voice. _________________ I'm here to kick ass and play card games
