I got the impression that he's going for 2 in one hand on that plane. Which is going to be massively hard to smooth out unless you use really small balls, which probably won't look too good.
Or maybe you are thinking of something like that but with two balls, i've tried it but not dedicated much time, ratchets like that are great though.
Good luck with it mind, if you can get it looking nice I'm sure it'll be worth it _________________ Now all gatherymost to amuse it and have a tilty elbow or a nice cuffle-oteedee - Oh Yes!

There are many formations like rockets and pyramids that are best viewed from the front angle. all of those need to be anti spun. It is the law. _________________ With practice, Contact juggling is as good as a Ungody Sphereplay nose fight inside a post box |

Wôw.
I'd really love to see some antispun pyramids and rockets vids!
As far as I can find in my bookmarks, I've never watch this amazing concept, but you're right, they must be antispined...^^
As for 2-ball in each hand vertical antispin, I'll surely continue to tackle it until smooth...given the fact that I don't have any filmed example of the move.

from looking at your si, I just noticed for the first time in my life ...that my name minus a l is coin. *just ignore the total random off topicness of that*
Anyway, pinky/thumb lifts, "propellors" work really well antispun. best place to start me thinks. and flip-turning 5-6 ball rockets should work pretty cool I imagine. I bet they be "a little tricky"
hmm what else. Actually thats about it for me.....my antispin sucks balls. I still am polishing 2 ball palm spins. _________________ With practice, Contact juggling is as good as a Ungody Sphereplay nose fight inside a post box |

OMG, I never think of dropping you apart!!! *just kidding*
Eventhough I palm a lot of co*ins on a daily basis lol!!

That's what I thought of as "The first method is so simple and ovious "...
I tried this: 6 balls, 3 in each hand
isolate 1 ball among the 3 by mean of thumb/pinky lifts in each hand
Basically we have a vertical 2-ball isolated palmspin, with an additional sphere behind which stands as a support...
> Now, if you change the hand direction movement on a vertical plane, you've got antispin
More accurately we 've got 2-hand, 6-ball, 4-ball antispin schemas...^^
This being said, please understand me well: I'm not trying to reinvent the world. I just react day by day, as I discover new possibilities, new ideas through reading this forum, mainly.
I can easily imagine that many of you seasoned manipulators practice all this kind of thing since a long time.
That's just me willing to share !!
Thanks so much! _________________ Lawrens

they do, but in all honesty there aren't that many multiballers with polish and solid understanding of antispin. lol it's still like rubbing my tummy and patting my head.
in other words, yeah someones probably done it, but are they doing it really really well? better, cleaner, with more crunk sauce than you might beable too? its a mystery. _________________ With practice, Contact juggling is as good as a Ungody Sphereplay nose fight inside a post box |

Was I right when I said that there're no vid on the web concerning vertical antispin with spheres?
I'd love to watch any link of it!

Well, in my experience there is no mystery at all, just a lot of daily practice with my 6x 86 mm...lol
I think it's a matter of analysing and breaking the moves down.
Thanks to Pich's work, we 've got a lot of infos related to this category of moves.
Indeed, the best source I can think of is Pich's antispin video: I took each variation, write it down, now all I have to do is doing it vertical (a year?? lol) and smooth!
Keeping in mind that it is a kind of 2-hand, 6-ball, 4-ball vertical antispun diagrams...
...one day...

How doing?
Well I was reading this thread late at night...
Pich said:
Quote: | You can also make vertical antispin with 3b1h or 6b2h lifts. It works very well and open many possibility that you worked with 4b2h horizontal. |
Funny to see how fast we forget things sometimes ...
I've read this thread at this time (almost one year old), but the above statement by Pich went deep into my unconscious mind...
(I didn't even have a multiball set to work with a year ago).
Quote myself:
Quote: | The first method is so simple and ovious that I slapped my forehead with amazement !! >_<
I can't believe no one thought of it!!
Of course I can be wrong, someone else is perhaps working on it. |
Unconscious mind at work!
So: 3b1h or 6b2h lifts > this is the first solution I was refering to as a solution for vertical antispin with spheres!!
F**** hard to say the least, because of the weight of the 6-ball set...
But well worth the work, as I can see in the mirror during my first essays...
Ryan said:
Quote: | Sorry... slight overexcitement. Pich's baton/stick material allows him to show his palmspinning concepts on a vertical plane. That's what I meant by 'he can spin vertically.' Didn't mean to cause confusion |
You didn't cause confusion for me, instead this leads me to think about it...
Thanks! _________________ Lawrens
