Awww I thought someone found some secret instant isolation learning trick that does without the huge amount of polishing involed with even simple isoations. Wishful thinking
I was at the actual workshop Ryan did at BCJC. Mad props to Ryan for that essay too, but I going have to say even after learning so much, there were no 'instant' improvements in my isos. I still had to put in loads of hours to even get close to a true isolation. That workshop was for me a major eye openner though. I can recomend that essay too it helped me alot. |

Drew kinda already wrote it.
It not out yet.. wont be for a while.
Have patience. You'll be glad when you get it.
He just needs to edit it
<Ryan - looks over his shoulder to drew... "How long is that thing now?"
Drew - "25,000 words">

Mmmm...
I'm hoping to be buying a Book and a DVD next year...
If not, I'll make do with just a DVD.

At first it sounded like some sort of infomercial line.... "Instant Iso's! Just add water!"
I'm sure Iso's are both much easier, and less impressive underwater. |

anyone ever notice that when you put an acrylic underwater it doesnt reflect upside-down and distort the image? It reflects straight through like a piece of glass.

When I was a young teenager, I took life saving lessons at our local pool. We were learning survival floating and in the deep end we were to float without moving our arms or legs. Well at that time (about 60 pounds ago) I did not float. The instructor kept yelling at me to stop kicking my feet. Finally I decided to show her so I took a deep breath and stettled myself on the bottom of the pool sitting indian style. She did not think it funny since I sat there for over a minute before I came up for air.

I used to be a member of a "competitive lifesaving" club in my teens and we had to learn "defences and releases" to protect ourselves from agressive casualties. - I never bothered with them though, I would just grab my assailant and sink to the bottom of the pool, confident in the knowledge that I could hold my breath longer than anyone else in the club _________________ .sig file not found. |
