Joseph, I'd keep working on it. Anything involving the addition of waves to the roll is going to take a LOT of practice and even more cleaning. They're especially frustrating because even if you're good at making waves to begin with, the addition of the ball makes one feel like they're having to start again from scratch. Trying to iso it of course sets you back much further in the game.

Just keep plugging away at it. It will eventually pay off.

I took an apple from the fruit bowl and did some things (I dunno the names of any moves around here except butterfly) with it, the things didn't look too bad but the apple got mushed pretty quickly.

I used to have more or less of a "stuff I can do" list and "stuff I still gotta learn" list. Now I dumped the second and slapped its name on the first.

Making a single and team contact routine for the JJF championships. Single routines are fine (to a degree at least) but making a team routine that uses a decent level of body rolling without being a disjointed mess is tough...if there isn't a high enough level of tricks we won't get selected to perform for the final, and on the other hand we totally don't want to reduce it to some jazz hands glitzy performance.

Heh, try weighting them; it makes all the difference if tennis balls are all ya got to work with.
