i'm wondering how long you estimate the final product will be. i think i speak for everyone here when i say, "the longer the better." with so much variety it would be sad to have just a half hour. in any case, i'm sure it'll be awesome. btw, will there be much liquid/waving? is that all encompassed within the definition of "modern"?

nope. darn man you fooled me. i saw the "In Isolation" line on the new posts list and got all excited. sigh. it may not be out for a few more monthes. on the other hand, Drews Writing a palmspinning multiball book that should be out in a few monthes hoepfully as well. what an exciting time to be a CJer

I've been keeping up with the bits of news here and there regarding 'in isolation' for quite some time now and as much as I'd hate to come of as one dimensional, I really only have one question: any idea how much hoop footage there will be?

I swear, the project as a whole sounds great, but that's the burning question.

umm..ok.
answering questions:

AcryP: In Isolation will have 2 sections of ''content''. One section will be a 20 minute edit of material which will be the main ''video'' that people will watch.
The other section will be a collection of 5 minute ''feature'' edits looking at each performer individually.

Also, AcryP: There are a few performers in the video that would fall under the category of ''modern''.. Jive from France is trained at the Lido mime school and he does work with 1 club and 1 stick; Ewans 2 ball work show traces of liquid, Pich's multiball/robot stuff, and my own section.

RadioLogic: As for hoops, the are only 3 of us that are really into it: Jago, Anna and myself. Jago has some hoop footage in his edit.. Anna does too but she does more ''dance'' rather than manipulation/isolation. I havent included any hoop in my edit... yet.... i have footage that we shot but i havent mixed it in yet.

There you go, questions answered.
The exciting update: The Ministry of Manipulation has just been given the rights to release the In Isolation web-promo at the end of May.
<assuming Jago and Mark Morreaux finish it in time>
