question, whats the proper way of doing the Aladen roll?
does one start in a cradle , and roll on the top of the arm, or in the palm and roll it on the bottom of the arm

If that is the move that is a behind the neck roll with your arms straight out on either side of you, I find its eaiser to go from cradle to cradle. Granted, I'm not very consistant with them yet. My reciving arm tends to want to move into a regular behind the neck roll position, rather than staying out straight.

Thanks for the response~

Smile The videos of stickman are great for learning, as always.

The Christmas Video was great ^_^ I always want to get my skill up so that I can go have fun in toy stores.

I can't find these Delawarr videos though...

That was really great Smile. I like the liquid dancing/robot whatever it's called...I just have no idea where to start trying it. I've never been a dancer, or even really tried. It looks fun.

2 variations of a straight armed BtN roll

There is a third variation on the BtN roll, it goes on the back side of your arm (hold out your arm straight behind you and look over your shoulder - that's the back of the arm I am talking about). I find the inside of the arm the easiest, the top of the arm the next level and the back side of the arm the hardest to learn control on.

I do a version of this at 0:48 here : http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-6018132758076678092&q=ministry+of+manipulation

Oh yeah, meant to mention that one. Actually from the last time that this was mentioned I thought that overextended armroll was the Aladdin roll. Lovely move.

That's awsome, thank you. You guys at MoM always look like you have so much fun doing well, all the things that you do. It's really encouraging to watch...also kind of discouraging because I'm just starting and it's kind of intimidating, and I wonder if I'll be able to do it. I mean, I'm just now starting Very Happy

Delawarr 1 is an older 2024 vid. I'm not going to bother upping it to youtube. maybe, if I ever get nostalgic about it.... Its not as technical as delawarr2 but it was a nice video for the time it was relz.
