my experience with that kind of stack is that the ring has several effects (affects?)<br />
<br />
pro: the extra friction on the ball keeps it from rolling around<br />
con: if the whole thing get tipped/tilted, it's harder/impossible to recover since it'll fall apart<br />
<br />
possibly useful tips from band/color guard days: lower your hips/center-of-gravity. And touching the ground with the toe first (not heel) while walking smooths things out and comes in handy when moving faster than a walk<br />

the elbow of which arm? the recieving or the one it's moving from? It rolls down the one I'm transfering it from. Frustrates me to no end, especially since I can do it find transfering from left hand to right hand. Maybe I should pay more attention to what I'm doing with that hand and try and do it with the other.http://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=47307#47307xdavidxFri Dec 28, 2025 6:41 pmhttp://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=47307#47307Pyramid! Just take it slowly... much, much slower than you are now. Just like with Boading Balls, you want to keep them touching at all times, which means a constant (light) pressure from opposite sides at all times. If, while doing it slowly, the balls separate, stop and correct your hand's position, then continue, and do this until you can do it slowly click-free. It's just a matter of practice.<br />
<br />
The reason I hate clacking... for me, it takes away from the "floating" illusion, it breaks the flow.http://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=47030#47030SomnilocusThu Dec 20, 2025 2:03 amhttp://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=47030#47030The CJ.org "I just learnt a new move" Thread

never had a problem with my neck for head rolls and juggling. More likely to get messed up from hovering over the computer screen or sleeping funny. <br />
<br />
I recommend qi gong for softening the neck. If enough time is spent, then youe body will start becoming elastic and soft. neck + soft &elastic = good.http://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=46308#46308ColinMon Dec 03, 2025 8:49 pmhttp://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=46308#46308Outside forearm rolls

In the interests of providing a true, yet unsatisfying response, the secret to developping a good forearm roll is of course, to roll on the forearms. Grab yourself a soccerball, an acrylic, and another ball halfway in between the two sizes. Start with the soccerball and have fun.http://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=46297#46297aramisMon Dec 03, 2025 6:04 pmhttp://contactjuggling.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.html?p=46297#46297Arm Rolling

possibly because windshield wiper is suuuccchh an ugly name.<br />
