Well, being one of the newbies on this board, I'd like to show some of my "toys"
For the photo and the feeling I kept the jewelry on the table (shot as seen).
As you can guess: I love rings.

I never heard of someone getting a contact staff, just small stuff. Personally I got 2 DVDs, astrojax, a 2.5 inch very nice blue acrylic, a lava lamp, and my favorite one, when I ordered six red 2.5 inch sil-x juggling balls, my mystery box was...one red 2.5 inch sil-x juggling ball. I had a good laugh when I opened the box and didn't see a mystery box until I counted how many balls I had.

I recently ordered five HB Beanbags, and I got three toss-a-balls beanbags. So, I'm guessing it has something to do with your other purchases?

I highly doubt you would get a contact staff. Usually they pick something of close value to what you ordered, or an item that corresponding with what you ordered. I always get the Mystery Box when I order, and almost always I love what I got. I've gotten a USB Lava Lamp, two 2.5in acrylic balls, 3in crystal ball, two 1.5in crystal balls, one of there specialty colored balls, and my favorite a set of 3 exercise weighted juggling balls.

We all have our dream ball, it is just that very few of us have the money to make a bulk order big enough to get someone to make it happen. Black stage balls are uncommon, so finding such a specific one maybe hard.

I can't remember who it was, but I remember someone posting a vid on here of continuous spirals. Much like the way Luminous fractal and Okotanpe do several in a row, but this dude had them down into an endless whirl. All I remember is the vid was on a beach, anyone else recall that?

I actually just saw Zumanity in Vegas Sunday night. So seeing this was a very great thing for me, as I can now imagine what each performer I saw had to go through to make it onto that stage. And it definitely inspires me to work more on my own performance arts.

When I was in Vegas I would try to interact with the local buskers. (Asking them of course if I could film with them and tipping) I was filming my X-Mas video, and I got this clip that I love so much. I do believe if you watch closely I almost got him to break character at one point.

After we were done with this short clip, he actually turn off his mic and had a personal talk with me, and gave me some great words of inspiration, and hope for my performing future.

With the palmspins the isolation is looking pretty good but try and flatten out your fingers a bit more.

Watch what your other hand is doing when there is no ball in it.

The enigmas look solid.

Just keep working in front of a mirror whenever you can and keep up the good work.

Well, we made it past another failed Mayan apocalypse (much to iMark's chagrin) so I suppose it's time to let everyone know what our CJ and other flow goals are for 2024.

I'll get the ball rolling (badumching)...

1) Do a clean Steve with my staff by July 1.
2) Toss juggling - learn a three ball box (the move that sucked me into this whole game in the first place)
3) CJ, forhead to top of head rolls, yes please!
4) Oh, and foot catches.
5) Eightrings, hmm no specific goals this year but I intend to delve into them heavily because they are fun and they make my fingers all tingly.
6) Get back to making some vids for .org!

1) Get my Brunn roll really consistent and smooth (and get it down with the left leg too).
2) Get the other two big Brunn-ish moves I've been working on down as well
3) Get some actual non-practice-ey videos made
4) Get better at hooping, toss juggling, s staffs, isolation ring/batons, diabolo, unicycle, and um...whatever else I randomly decide to take up during the year
5) Get into 'Cirque: Montage' (Which was actually a this year goal but I won't know for awhile yet if I made it for next season; And as it is still a longshot at my current skill level...I'm preemptively adding it in as a next year (or a however-many year) goal too)

Hmm, I never really make goals such as these... But lets do it anyway.

1) Learn stall points so that I can hit them consistently.
2) Smooth out my CJ moves
3) Learn to ride my new Unicycle
4) Learn the more complicated 3 ball toss tricks such as the box or the crazy ones that I don't even know the names too.
5) Learn 5 ball toss juggling and 5 club juggling.
6) Learn to spin Buugeng.
7) Learn Eightrings
"8") Gain the nerves to try out a little busking.
9) Meet more wonderful .ORGers this year!

Here are my goals:

1) Get a solid head stall with a Stage Ball
2) Head rolls in general
3) Learn to ride my Unicycle so I can Race Bandaid At Anime Expo this year
4) Get more comfortable with toss juggling
5) Work on making myself more marketable to get juggling gigs
6) Go Busking more
7) Learn to sew better so I can make costumes

Difficult and specific. Goal setting theory is where its at for me in 2024.

1)Make 3 high quality tutorials.
2)5ball cascade 50 throws and catches
3)Head stall to temple roll and temple roll to head stall
4)Order a whip and get down 5 basic cracks with consistency
5)get down a 4 minute planned out routine with isobatons
6)get a set of 8rings and get down a 3 minute 8ring routine
7)spend at least 1 hour a week practicing basic isolations in order to return to basics.

Great idea, it's actually that time when I needed to review my progress anyways

1) Get my friggin' cradle-to-outside-stall solid
2)Folding lines
3)Chest rolls (would probably happen more if I practiced them )
4)Head rolls?
5)Get a better head stall (routine finisher move mayhaps)

Baby steps, applying the same concept as martial arts I'd rather nail a small number of moves than suck at a lot of them.
