Didn't know the form, but I just looked it up on YouTube and well... being able to do that would indeed be quite an accomplishment :D

I've also thought about practicing my Tai Ji forms with a ball on my head, I think it would be pretty good for keeping the correct posture. In fact, I've already tried it, was able to do around 3 or 4 moves, but then failed miserably and decided that I need to get better at the headstall before I try that again :D]]>

Coin-/Jeton-Manipulation, Penspinning, Card-Manipulation, the mentioned "ring trix" like the Gryphon roll, etc made popular by "De' Ring" or whatever origin it has,... yup - also stumbled upon those. First I thought, the "ring trix" would be a "hit" (kind of an tip of an iceberg) on my recherche, but the difference is too big, and there seem only to be 2 or 3 tricks to be shown everywhere - and that's all.

My camera is garbage, I know... By now I can't afford one... :( But I guess, that's just a matter of time ;)

I'm also interested in BCJ, hoops, clubs, cards,... love to watch those, too, of course. Some moves I use to do are also inspired by those. I once tried BCJ, too, but just minimal basics. Perhaps I'll do some more another time, but by now my focus is on rings. The language is the same, though it's got differences in dialects :balance:

I was born, raised and live near Koblenz. Yup - I also studied maths in Mainz (nearby my home-area).
The identity used as my user-name is the equation that follows by using "Tau" (equals two "Pi") instead of "Pi" - see: "Tau Manifesto".]]>

It's like getting into a new world with no map. A great poineer-feeling, btw! Physics, Maths, lots of feeling for it,... those are by now the many "guides" to this type... since there's no literature etc, it's fresh and not "standardized". Definitely I'll keep on exploring. But I do not call it "ring tricks" - it's an object manipulation at least, and a CJ, too, so I thought: Why not naming it that way?!

I'll get the ball rolling (badumching)...

1) Do a clean Steve with my staff by July 1.
2) Toss juggling - learn a three ball box (the move that sucked me into this whole game in the first place)
3) CJ, forhead to top of head rolls, yes please!
4) Oh, and foot catches.
5) Eightrings, hmm no specific goals this year but I intend to delve into them heavily because they are fun and they make my fingers all tingly.
6) Get back to making some vids for .org!
